Visualization. Close your eyes and imagine exactly what it is you want. Be specific, whether its a house, a car, whatever it is, imagine it as though its in front of you. Yes, its easier said than done. Its sometimes hard to see the silver lining, especially amongst an especially dark cloud. But sometimes the silver lining is so close its often not seen. For instance, let's say you're getting what feels like a cold, for most people their gut reaction is, "oh great, a cold, now I'm gonna miss work, school, etc, etc, etc. But instead of focusing on and waiting for the cold to come, think about what good could come from it. Maybe it's a chance for you to read that book that's been sitting on your shelf, or finish that scrapbook project. Or perhaps its the universe telling you to slow down, maybe you're going to fast. Just take a moment to stop and smell the roses, feel the grass beneath your feet, and breathe in that fresh air.
Whatever your situation is, there is a silver lining, sometimes it's just harder to find. Open your eyes, take a deep breathe, and slip off your shoes, and you'll find your silver lining. Written by Marlo Jane www.divinesightphotos.weebly.com
